At K9Pawfections we appreciate that your dog is of great importance to you. That is why customers are always welcome to be shown inside the mobile salon, so you can see for yourselves that your dog is going to be well cared for in a relaxed grooming environment.
Customers are greeted by a member of the K9 Pawfections team and Poppy & Lottie, my much-loved Cocker Spaniels, who always likes to welcome new dogs into the salon and makes them feel at ease.
I pride K9 Pawfections that no crates or cages are used and i offer a one to one personal grooming experience which allows us to cater for each dog’s individual requirements comfortably.This also means if your dog suffers with anxiety of being around other dogs this isnt a issue as only one clients dog is booked at a time.
Please allow 1.5-2 hours to groom each dog. Please note that there is no “drop off and wait” service. Dogs are more responsive during grooming if they are not able to sense their owner is near the mobile salon.
Our aim is for your dog to enjoy being groomed as much as you will enjoy seeing the end result. It will be a stress-free and pleasurable experience so your four-legged friend returns home happy, looking their best, smelling wonderful.....and wagging their tail.
We always advise that puppies are introduced to the grooming environment at an early age (4 months or younger), even if only for a bath and nail clip. This reassures them and give them confidence for when they need a full groom. This will familarise them with the sounds and smells of the grooming environment.
Some salons draw a line at grooming dogs with nervous or difficult temperaments. But at K9 Pawfections, we believe that with patience, skilled handling and a calming atmosphere, we will be able to manage the majority of situations. It’s a delight to see them leave with tails wagging!
Having said that, it is essential that we are informed, prior to booking, if a dog has a tendency to be anxious, nervous or in some cases aggressive. This behaviour can upset other dogs (if more than 1 dog from same household) and more time and effort may have to be allocated to the grooming, which may also result in an extra charge (please see our pricing page for more information). Also my staff and I do value our hands so we like to be told of any potential problems in advance!
On board the mobile salon I keep a stock where you can purchase treats or toys for your dog or pick up their regular worming or flea treatment, colognes and shampoo's. All our dogs are bathed and conditioned using natural and organic products. We also have a special range of spa treatments using intense conditioners and/or medicated shampoo's for pets with sensitive skin. If you wish to use your own medicated products, please bring these with you. Whatever your dog’s needs, we can cater for them. Just let us know when booking.If any veterinary shampoo is required this must be provided at the owners expense and there is a additional cost for bathing dogs in this as it requires more time.
Many of our customers tell us how lovely their dogs look and smell for weeks after their grooming sessions. That makes us very happy because it means my customers appreciate the care that has gone into choosing the grooming products we use.

I do offer a full mobile service which comes to your home or I offer a collection and delivery service, for which there is a charge, but you do need to book this in advance.
